Running an online business can be really tricky as it is not easy to know where to advertise. There are lots of different ways to do it including banner ads, pay to click ads, buying page exposures, link exchanges, forums and blogs to name but a few. However, I found with my website the best advertising I could get was to pay for a good web designer who made sure that my website was full of relevant key words. I then came at the top of search engines (it helped that I was appealing to a niche market) and I found my business took off very quickly.
